I used the shampoo once and thought it was good, but wasn't positive because I put the oil in after. The next day I used the shampoo but no oil. It feels clean 16 hours later. And still smells great. I don't have a large beard as I'm still in the military, but I've got a mustache. I use this on both. I've yet to find anything the even compares. I'll have to buy some for the kid now.

Simply amazing!! Got a few different washes a couple days ago, as I use them all the time, sometimes twice a day depending on job site visits, and after a day on a particularly hot, dry, dusty, nasty job site visit today I tried the Wisco Whiskey wash (followed up naturally with the oil) and it was AWESOME to say the least. By far the best wash I've used to date and will be getting more for sure! Highly recommend, great product.
